Audio notes for media

                                                          MAKING A SPEAKER
Today I made our own little speaker using  card, some coil and magnets. Firstly I rolled up the card using a sharpie pen as a template to make a roll, then I wrapped copper coil around the tube leaving both ends of the coil sticking out I then put magnet in the middle of the tube then I hooked it up to the amp with mini crocodile clips. The music source came from my phone which was connected the amplifier, when we added a cup to the top of the card tube the sound came out louder.    The magnets vibrate creating sound waves that blast out of the card.   The microphone works in the same way the speaker works when the magnets move, for example a megaphone.

Notes on what I have done using Adobe Audition.

Today we have learned how to download songs and sound effects from the internet which are either in Public domain or a creative common.
I have learned how to place music music and sound effects on a multi-track of audition.
I have been able to create a basic mix using 3 sound effects and one song using a variety of methods, I have been showed the 3 ways to change the volume on a multi track:  One way of changing the volume is using the yellow bar, the higher the bar the louder the sound. Another way of arranging the volume is turning the dial on the left side of the track layout. The 3rd way of turning the volume up and down is going the mixer side which Is the place where you can rearrange loads of different things for the sound on the track.
